Fitted with a 2.4-inch LCD display and a real-time clock, the Intermec PC23DA0010022 is a USB-connected direct thermal label printer running at up to 8 in/s at 203 dpi across a 2.20-inch print width. It accepts labels up to 2.40 inches wide and up to 68 inches long on rolls to 5 inches in diameter with a 1.50-inch core, handling self-adhesive labels, linerless stock, continuous paper, tags, floodcoat and non-adhesive tag media via a transmissive media sensor. Memory stands at 128 MB DDR2 SDRAM with 128 MB of flash storage, and language emulation covers IPL, Fingerprint, DSim, ZSim, XML and E-Sim. Symbology support includes Aztec Code, Data Matrix, PDF-417, Micro PDF-417, QR Code and RSS-14 among others. The desktop chassis measures 4.9 in wide by 8.5 in deep by 6.9 in tall and weighs 3.20 lb, powered by an external power adapter.

The Intermec PC23d by Honeywell is a compact 2-inch direct thermal desktop label printer built for IT and procurement buyers who need a reliable, easy-to-deploy printing solution in space-constrained environments. Suited to healthcare, retail, hospitality, light-duty manufacturing, and warehouse settings, it handles self-adhesive labels, non-adhesive tags, linerless media, floodcoat, and continuous paper strip roll up to a 5" roll diameter. Print resolution reaches up to 300 dpi, with speeds selectable up to 8 ips at 203 dpi and 6 ips at 300 dpi. Standard USB connectivity is complemented by a field-installable Ethernet module, and an optional factory-installed 13.56 MHz HF RFID module extends its capability to smart label applications. The 2.4" LCD user interface supports ten languages, and 128 MB Flash plus 128 MB RAM provide solid on-board processing. Broad command language support — including IPL, ZSim, DSim, and ESim — makes integration and migration straightforward, while a disinfectant-resistant case and Energy Star compliance add long-term value.
