A 1 GHz OMAP processor drives Microsoft Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 Professional, backed by 512 MB of RAM and 2 GB of flash memory, with a microSD card slot for additional storage. The 3.5-inch color touchscreen runs at VGA resolution (640 x 480), and a QWERTY keypad completes data entry. Drop resistance is rated to 2.4 m, with an additional 1.8 m rating across -20°C to 50°C, and ingress protection meets both IP65 and IP67; the unit is also MIL-STD 810G certified. Wireless security spans WPA2, 802.1x, EAP-TLS, PEAP, LEAP and EAP-FAST protocols, and the 3600 mAh Li-Ion battery ships included. The device carries PTCRB approval, RoHS and WEEE compliance, and a 1-year limited warranty.
