It reaches barcodes at a scanning distance of 10 in, with a 50-degree horizontal field of view, a 52-degree skew tolerance and a 68-degree pitch angle supporting flexible aim. CodeGate technology lets users target the desired barcode and transmit data with a single button press, while automatic infrared activation also supports fixed presentation scanning via the included stand. The scanner tolerates ambient light up to 4842 lux, requires a minimum print contrast of 35%, draws a maximum of 825 mW, and survives multiple 1.5 m drops.
