Fitted with a dual-band IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN radio and Bluetooth, the Intermec CK71AA4KC00W1100 is an alphanumeric-keypad handheld terminal built around a 1 GHz OMAP 3 processor with 512 MB of RAM and 1 GB of flash storage, with a microSD slot for further expansion. Its EA30 area imager reads both 1D and 2D barcodes and is paired with a 3.5-inch color VGA touchscreen at 480 x 640 resolution. Drop-rated to 2.4 m onto concrete at standard conditions and to 1.8 m at -20°C to 60°C, it also tolerates air electrostatic discharge of 15kV DC and direct electrostatic discharge of 8kV DC. The included 5200 mAh Li-Ion battery supports extended shifts, and wireless security spans WPA, WPA2, 802.1x, WEP (64 or 128 bit), AES and TKIP. Running Microsoft Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5, the unit weighs 1.29 lb and measures 9.3 in long by 3.1 in wide by 2 in deep.
