Operating on the Datalogic STAR Cordless System at 433 MHz, the Datalogic PM9500-433RB is a wireless 2D area imager delivering up to 30,000 scans per rechargeable lithium-ion charge — enough to sustain more than one full shift of intensive scanning. Its omni-directional scan pattern covers a broad depth of field, reaching 2.3 in to 6.7 in at 4 mil, 0.8 in to 9.8 in at 10 mil for PDF417, and out to 1.5 in to 33.4 in at 40 mil, with Data Matrix read capability from 3.5 in to 7 in across the 7.5 mil and 10 mil ranges. The yellow and black handheld chassis measures 8.3 in tall, 2.9 in wide and 4.3 in deep, weighing 13.40 oz, and is suited to warehousing, manufacturing, transport and logistics deployments. A USB cable is sold separately.

The Datalogic PowerScan PM9500 is a ruggedized cordless handheld 2D area imager designed for IT and operations teams deploying scanners in demanding industrial environments such as warehousing, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. Powered by Datalogic's STAR Cordless System operating at 433 MHz or 910 MHz, it delivers wireless freedom with seamless roaming and point-to-point or multi-point configurations supporting up to 32 readers per radio receiver. Its omni-directional imaging engine reads all standard 1D and 2D codes, including direct part marks, from contact up to over 1.0 m depending on barcode resolution. An IP65-rated housing and drop resistance of 2.0 m / 6.6 ft onto concrete ensure reliable operation in harsh settings, while a removable Lithium-Ion battery rated for 30,000+ scans per charge supports more than one full shift of intensive scanning. Ethernet, RS-232, and USB interfaces simplify integration into existing host systems.
