FirstStrike advanced software decoding algorithms accelerate scanning speed while improving first-pass read rates on damaged, wrinkled, or poorly printed labels — keeping checkout lines moving efficiently. Flash memory enables field software upgrades to protect the retailer's long-term investment, and a powered auxiliary RS-232 port simplifies integration of a handheld scanner or peripheral device.
