The Zebra MK4000 Micro Kiosk is a compact, wall- or stand-mountable self-service POS kiosk designed for IT and operations teams deploying customer-facing or workforce-management solutions in retail, hospitality, healthcare, transportation, and entertainment environments. Built around an Intel XScale 624 MHz processor with 128 MB SDRAM and 64 MB Flash — expandable up to 8 GB via a Micro SD slot — the MK4000 pairs a 12.1-inch color SVGA LCD touchscreen (800 x 600) with an integrated imager capable of capturing 1D and 2D bar codes, including PDF417, QR, Aztec, DataMatrix, and MaxiCode. IEEE 802.11a/b/g WLAN and 10/100 Mb Ethernet connectivity keep the unit integrated with back-end systems, while three Mini USB ports accommodate peripherals such as printers and magnetic-stripe readers.
