Configured as the standard-range DS9808-SR model, the Zebra DS9808-SR00397NNWR is a corded hybrid presentation imager that switches between hands-free and handheld operation in a Twilight Black chassis weighing 12 oz. In handheld mode it scans up to 10.5 in. away, and its swipe speed is programmable up to 100 in/s (254 cm/s) with omnidirectional decoding, so barcode orientation does not need to be aligned before scanning. Symbology coverage spans 1D formats including UPC/EAN, Code 39, Code 128, Code 93, Codabar, GS1 DataBar and I 2 of 5, along with PDF417, MicroPDF417, Composite Codes, and 2D formats including DataMatrix/ECC 200, QR Code, Aztec and MaxiCode, plus nine postal formats. The imager also captures images and signatures and reads codes from paper labels and mobile phone displays.
