Compatible with the Apple iPhone 5 and SE, the SL42 snaps around the device and adds an integrated N5600 Standard Range 2D imager powered by Adaptus 6.0 Imaging Technology, enabling fast, accurate reading of standard 1D, PDF, 2D, and Postal symbologies — including barcodes scanned from mobile phone screens. Suited to retail, field service, and light industrial environments, it supports USB connectivity for data transfer to a PC and charges both the sled and the iPhone simultaneously via a wall adapter. A removable 1150 mAh lithium-ion battery delivers up to 8 hours of combined operation, while a protective housing rated to IP30 and designed to withstand 1.2 m drops to concrete adds meaningful durability for everyday use.
