Operating at 915 MHz in the UHF band, the Intermec IV7D202014 is a forklift-mountable RFID reader engineered for serial attachment to Intermec fixed vehicle mount computers, including the CV30, CV41, CV60 and CV61. A built-in DC-DC converter manages noisy vehicle power environments, and the cast aluminum housing — measuring 9.3 inches wide and 3.7 inches tall — incorporates cable strain relief features and pre-drilled base plate holes for U-bolt or flexible strap mounting to a wide range of fork trucks. The unit can be positioned anywhere on the vehicle within 3.5 m of the power source, communicating to the host computer via RS-232. At 6.79 lb, it carries an IP65 environmental seal for sustained operation in harsh industrial conditions. RoHS compliance is confirmed, and the IV7D202014 is backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
