The Datalogic SRX3 is a high-performance ultrasonic fork sensor designed for engineers and system integrators who need reliable label detection in label dispensing, printing, and packaging applications. Operating at 300 kHz, it detects transparent, opaque, and metallic ink labels on any type of roll support — including transparent labels on transparent backing — as well as performing double-sheet and adhesive-surface detection that optical sensors cannot reliably manage. Its 3 mm slot width and up to 2 mm label gap resolution support tape speeds up to 60 m/min, making it well suited for high-throughput manufacturing and labeling lines. Available in dynamic or static teach configurations with M8 or M12 connectors and PNP/NPN outputs, the SRX3 fits seamlessly into diverse control architectures. An IP54-rated aluminium housing, combined with shock and vibration ratings per EN60068-2-6 and EN60068-2-27, ensures dependable operation in demanding industrial environments.
