The Datalogic DS4800 is a corded industrial laser barcode scanner built for demanding automation and manufacturing environments. Designed for fixed-mount operation, it delivers high-speed 1D barcode reading at up to 1000 scans/s with a resolution of up to 0.20 mm (8 mils) and a reading distance of up to 1000 mm on 0.50 mm (20 mils) barcodes. DIGITECH™ technology optimizes signal processing for low-quality and low-contrast codes, while ACR4™ reconstruction technology maintains reliable decode rates on damaged labels. The X-PRESS™ Human Machine Interface simplifies installation and maintenance without specialist tools, and the embedded ID-NET™ port supports high-speed network communication at up to 1 Mbps. An IP65-rated aluminum housing withstands dust, moisture, vibration, and shock, making the DS4800 equally at home in automated warehousing, conveyor sorting, pallet reading, picking systems, and shop-floor traceability applications.
