The Datalogic DS2100N is a compact, fixed-mount laser bar code reader designed for automation engineers and systems integrators who need reliable close-range 1D scanning in demanding industrial environments. Built for automatic warehouses, factory automation, automatic picking systems, process control, packaging lines, and print-and-apply applications, it delivers a scan rate of up to 1000 scan/s with a maximum resolution of 5 mil and a reading distance of 50–300 mm (1.97–11.81 in). Its ACR Advanced Code Reconstruction technology ensures consistent reads on low-quality or damaged labels, while multi-interface connectivity — including RS232/RS422/RS485, auxiliary RS232, ID-NET, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET with an embedded two-port Ethernet switch — simplifies integration into existing automated lines. An IP65-rated aluminum housing and an operating temperature range of 0°–45°C (32–113°F) make it well suited to the rigors of industrial shop-floor use.
