At 300 dpi and a 2.13-inch print width, the Zebra ZD4AH23-D01E00EZ delivers monochrome direct thermal output at up to 4.02 in/s, sized for point-of-care and clinical desktop workflows in a 2.20 lb chassis measuring 4.5 in wide by 8.6 in deep by 6 in tall. Built on the ZD411-HC platform, it accepts labels up to 2.24 inches wide and 39.02 inches long, handles media up to 7.50 mil thick on rolls to 5 inches in diameter, and supports roll-fed, fanfold, tag stock, wristband and continuous media via full-width, moveable reflective/black mark, and multi-position transmissive/gap sensors. Standard connectivity covers USB, USB Host, Fast Ethernet, Bluetooth and NFC, with optional Serial (RS-232) and Wireless LAN available. The 256 MB of onboard memory supports ZPL II, EPL II, EZPL, XML and ZBI emulation alongside broad 1D and 2D symbology coverage including ISBT-128, PDF417, Data Matrix, QR Code and Aztec. A medical-grade power supply rated IEC 60601-1 compliant, disinfectant-ready UV-resistant plastics, and a sealed-button interface address healthcare infection-control requirements, while Link-OS support enables remote fleet management. The unit is Energy Star certified, RoHS and REACH compliant, and carries a two-year limited warranty.
