Motion tolerance of 20 in/s and a 45-degree horizontal by 34-degree vertical field of view support both handheld and hands-free workflows, while a 360-degree roll angle and minimum print contrast of 20% accommodate awkward presentations and difficult labels. The 745 mAh Li-Polymer battery delivers up to 18 hours of run time and recharges fully in 6 hours, drawing 400 mA active and 90 mA in standby. At 2.90 oz in a Midnight Black chassis measuring 4.3 in deep by 1.8 in wide by 0.9 in tall, the unit carries an IP65 rating, survives multiple drops from 6.0 ft to concrete, and operates from 32 F (0 C) to 122 F (50 C). The Zebra CS60 Series Companion Scanner is a compact, convertible handheld barcode scanner built for retail, hospitality, logistics, inventory, and light manufacturing environments where a single device must adapt to multiple workflows. Its first-of-its-kind convertible design switches between corded and cordless operation and between handheld and hands-free presentation modes, eliminating the need to deploy separate scanners for different tasks. A 1280 x 960 area imager powered by Zebra's PRZM Intelligent Imaging captures 1D, 2D, and OCR codes — including damaged, low-contrast, and on-screen barcodes — at distances up to 26". Bluetooth and USB connectivity, a 745 mAh Lithium Polymer battery rated for up to 18 hours of runtime, and IP65-rated, drop-tested housing combine to deliver all-day reliability in demanding, fast-paced operations.
