The Verkada SV21 is a cloud-managed air quality sensor designed for IT, facilities, and operations teams that need continuous, reliable monitoring of indoor environments. It measures temperature, relative humidity, and carbon dioxide directly, and derives four additional composite indices — Heat Index, Humidex, Mold Risk Index, and Dew Point Index — delivering eight actionable readings from a single device. The SV21 is especially well suited for server rooms, IDF/MDF closets, cold storage areas, and open office spaces where protecting infrastructure, inventory, and occupant health is critical. Powered solely over PoE via IEEE 802.3af, it comes online in minutes and operates at less than 5 kbps, making enterprise-wide deployment practical.
