The Verkada CC300 Command Connector is a 1U rackmount network video recorder designed for IT and security teams that need to bring existing third-party cameras into Verkada's cloud-managed Command platform without a full camera replacement. Suited to small deployments such as satellite offices, retail outlets, and distributed sites operating on separate networks, the CC300 supports up to 10 channels at 5MP or 5 channels at 4K resolution, with 4TB or 8TB of hot-swappable onboard storage providing 30 or 60 days of continuous retention per channel. Powered by an Intel i9-13900 processor with 32GB RAM and dual 2.5 Gbps RJ45 Ethernet, it delivers AI-powered video analytics, adaptive quality recording, and single pane-of-glass management through Verkada Command. FCC Class A, NDAA compliant, and ONVIF Profile S conformant, the CC300 carries a 5-year warranty on both the unit and its hard disc drive.

What onboard storage options and retention periods does the Verkada CC300 offer?
The CC300 is available with either 4TB of storage providing 30 days of retention per channel, or 8TB providing 60 days of retention per channel, both using hot-swappable 3.5-inch HDDs.
What are the physical and connectivity specifications of the Verkada CC300?

What analytics and search capabilities does the Verkada CC300 support for legacy cameras?
Connected legacy cameras gain access to motion detection, people and vehicle history and attribute search, face search, AI-powered search and alerts, and analytics such as line-crossing detection, loitering detection, and people and vehicle trajectory analysis, though some of these leverage the CC300's onboard processing and may not be available on all channels.
Does the Verkada CC300 require a PoE switch to connect legacy cameras, and what camera protocol does it use?
Yes, a PoE switch is required to connect and power non-Verkada cameras to the CC300, and cameras connect using ONVIF Profile S; RTSP connections are also supported, but the number of channels available via RTSP depends on resource allocation points rather than a fixed channel count.
