Fitted with a peel-and-present mechanism and an internal rewinder, the Datamax-O'Neil PAD-00-48900N00 handles direct thermal and thermal transfer label printing at up to 600 dpi — the highest resolution value in its specification block — across a 4.16-inch print width at speeds to 6 in/s. Auto-feed media loading accepts rolls up to 8 inches in diameter, with labels as wide as 4.65 inches and as long as 36 inches. A 3-inch media hub is included, and 64 MB of flash memory supports label formatting and storage. USB and Ethernet connectivity cover standard integration requirements on a PC platform, while AC power keeps the 41 lb, 11.9-in-tall chassis stationary on the desktop. PCL printer language support allows operation independent of application software. The unit carries a one-year limited warranty.
