Fitted with internal heaters, screen defrosters, and a cold-storage battery pack, the Honeywell MX7L2C1B1B0US4D is engineered to operate at temperatures as low as -22°F (-30°C), making it the configuration-defining detail separating it from standard Tecton variants. The SE955 laser scan engine handles short-range barcode capture wirelessly over IEEE 802.11a/b/g with Bluetooth, backed by a security suite that includes WPA2 Personal and Enterprise, EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS/MSCHAPv2, PEAPv0/EAP-MSCHAPv2, and CCX v.4. A PXA320 processor running at 806 MHz drives Windows CE 6.0 with 256 MB RAM and 256 MB flash, expandable via SD card. The 3.5-inch color LCD touchscreen renders at 240 x 320 VGA resolution alongside a 55-key alphanumeric keypad, and the unit measures 8.8 in tall by 3.4 in wide by 2 in deep. The included 1250 mAh battery, IP65 and CE certifications, and a 1.8 m drop specification round out a device covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
