IEEE 802.11b wireless LAN and Bluetooth connectivity ship standard in the Datalogic 942251001, a laser-scanning handheld terminal built for retail store-floor and stock-room mobile commerce workflows. The unit runs Windows CE 5.0 Core on an XScale processor clocked at 312 MHz, backed by 64 MB of RAM and 64 MB of flash memory. Expansion is handled through miniSD and CompactFlash card slots. Ten barcode symbologies are supported across the laser scan engine, including Code 128, EAN-128, Code 39, Code 93, Codabar, Code 2 of 5, EAN/UPC, Code 11, Plessey and MSI. The color LCD resolves at 240 x 320, and an alphanumeric keypad handles data entry. The Li-Ion battery is rated at 100 mAh, and the chassis is drop-rated to 60 inches onto concrete.
