Intechsol Corp. was tasked with assisting a customer responsible for managing Puerto Rico's voter registration and voter ID cards across multiple voting locations. The customer's existing equipment was unable to handle the high volume of voter cards efficiently. Furthermore, the outdated devices presented numerous operational challenges, including a bulky, heavy design that was difficult to transport, frequent malfunctions, and calibration issues when relocated between regional offices for pop-up registration events.
With election voting only one week away, the solution needed to be implemented across multiple regional offices within a tight deadline, creating significant logistical and resource challenges.

The solution included twenty-four retransfer ID card printers, recommended by Levata for their high-speed printing capability, excellent image quality, and heavy-use durability. Twenty-four lamination modules provided additional security and protection against wear and tear. To support the production of 60,000 dual-sided ID cards, Levata provided a substantial supply of high-quality, genuine consumables.
Faced with a complex deployment across numerous voting locations, Intechsol relied on Levata for comprehensive support. Levata's implementation specialists joined Intechsol at the deployment locations to ensure swift installations within tight deadlines. Following installation, Levata provided in-depth training to end-users. Post-implementation, Levata remained available for immediate technical assistance.
In partnership with Levata, Intechsol successfully implemented a scalable card printing technology in just a few days, meeting the client's immediate needs while paving the way for future opportunities. By enhancing mobility and streamlining processes, the client effectively executed a large-scale voter registration and voter card issuance program ahead of Puerto Rico's election period.
