The Verkada BR32 is a wireless passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor designed for facility managers, IT administrators, and security teams seeking cloud-managed intrusion detection across commercial sites. Operating on Verkada's proprietary VLink protocol at 868–928 MHz, it delivers a 90° horizontal field of view with a detection range of 32 ft (10 m), making it well suited for retail stores, office buildings, warehouses, and multi-site enterprise environments. The BR32 connects automatically to the nearest VLink hub — no manual pairing required — and is managed remotely through Verkada's Command platform for centralized monitoring and configuration. Powered by two CR123A lithium batteries with up to 5 years of battery life, the sensor carries a 10-year warranty and holds EN 50131 (Grade 2) and FY2019 NDAA certifications.
