The unit prints direct thermal monochrome labels at 203 dpi and up to 4 in/s across a 3.30-inch maximum print width, handling label and receipt media on rolls up to 2.65 inches in diameter with a 0.75-inch core. A transmissive media sensor and label taken sensor work together to minimize errors and reduce waste. Language emulation covers ZPL II, IPL, Fingerprint and ESC/P, while 16 MB of RAM and 64 MB of flash support onboard processing. The 2250 mAh Lithium Ion battery, LCD display and four audio status indicators support mobile operation, and the chassis meets a 1.5 m drop specification to concrete. SmartSystems compatibility enables remote device management.

The Honeywell PB32 is a rugged, portable direct thermal label printer built for mobile workers in warehousing, distribution, in-store retail, and enterprise asset management. Printing at up to 4 in/s at 203 dpi, it produces crisp monochrome labels and receipts without ink or ribbons, supporting media widths from 30.48 mm to 83.82 mm and all major 1D and 2D barcode symbologies. An IP54 seal rating and a drop specification of 1.5 m to concrete make it dependable in demanding industrial environments. Bluetooth, USB, and serial connectivity integrate the PB32 into varied network infrastructures, while SmartSystems remote device management reduces IT overhead. With 16 MB RAM and 64 MB flash, plus IPL, Fingerprint, ZPL II, and ESC/P language emulation, the printer slots into existing workflows with minimal development effort.
