Resolving down to 5 mil, the Honeywell MK9540-32A38 is a USB HID, single-line laser scanner in the VoyagerCG MS9540 family that covers all standard 1D symbologies plus RSS-14, RSS-Limited and RSS-Expanded. Its auto-trigger with CodeGate technology holds a targeted barcode in the scan field and transmits data only on button press, making it well-suited to POS and menu-scanning environments. Depth of field spans 0 in to 2 in at 5.2 mil and extends to a 1 in to 10 in range at 21 mil. The handheld black chassis measures 7.8 in tall, 3.1 in wide and 1.6 in deep, weighing 5.26 oz. Class 1 laser ratings comply with IEC 60825-1 and EN 60825-1, while EMC certifications cover FCC, ICES-003 and EN55022 Class B.
