Configured with a Keyboard Wedge host interface and supplied with a power supply, cables and manuals, the Honeywell MK5145-71A47 is a corded, single-line laser barcode scanner drawing 5 V DC. Its CCD image sensor reaches a maximum scan resolution of 4 mil, with depth-of-field figures ranging from 0.375 in - 1.5 in at 4.1 mil out to 0 in - 7.125 in at 26 mil, covering the span from close-contact reads to extended-range positions. The scanner decodes all standard 1D symbologies plus RSS-14, RSS-Limited and RSS-Expanded, and CodeGate technology lets an operator aim at the desired barcode and trigger transmission with a deliberate button press -- well-suited to menu scanning, point-of-sale and document processing. The gray handheld housing measures 6.7 in deep by 2.5 in wide by 1.4 in tall and weighs 3.41 oz. Certifications include IEC 60825-1:1993+A1:1997+A2:2001 Class 1 laser, FCC, ICES-003 and EN55022 Class B EMC.
