USB connectivity defines the MK5145-31A38 configuration of the Honeywell Eclipse 5145 single-line laser scanner, drawing 5 V DC from the host port and operating without a separate power supply. The scanner resolves barcodes to 4 mil and delivers a working depth of field that ranges from contact to 2 in at 5.2 mil, extending to 1 in through 7 in at 26 mil, covering standard 1D and GS1 DataBar symbologies across its single-line scan pattern. At 3.50 oz and measuring 6.7 in long by 2.5 in wide by 2 in tall, the black handheld chassis is light enough for sustained counter or handheld use. CodeGate technology lets an operator aim at the target barcode and trigger transmission deliberately, making the unit suitable for menu scanning, point-of-sale and document processing workflows. The scanner is OPOS and JPOS compatible, meets IEC 60825-1 Class 1 laser and FCC and ICES-003 and EN55022 Class B EMC standards, and carries a 3-year limited warranty.
