SKU:

2100IXLR-3SERN

Configured with a serial interface and bundled with an Industrial RS232 Cable (CBL-020-300-C00-01), the Honeywell 2100IXLR-3SERN is an extreme-long-range, AI-powered handheld imager reading 1D, 2D, PDF, Postal, Digimarc, DOT Code, and OCR symbologies across a 1280 x 1080 sensor. Its 42-degree horizontal and 36-degree vertical field of view, 360-degree roll tolerance, and 157 in/s motion tolerance keep reads reliable across orientations and fast-moving targets, with a minimum print contrast of just 15%. IP65 and IP68 ratings and MIL-STD-810G-tested 3 m drop performance suit the unit to warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing environments operating from -22 degrees F (-30 degrees C) to 122 degrees F (50 degrees C). Maximum operating power draw is 2.75 W with a 175 mA standby current, and the 11.64 oz chassis measures 7.7 in long. A 3-year limited warranty covers the kit.

Description
ico-plus ico-minus
The Honeywell Granit Ultra 2100i is an ultra-rugged industrial handheld barcode scanner built for demanding warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, picking, and packing environments. Its AI-powered area imager with a 1280 x 1080 pixel array delivers an average 45% faster scanning speed compared to the Granit XP, confidently reading both 1D and 2D codes — including damaged, low-quality, and direct part marked barcodes — at motion tolerances up to 157.48 in/s. Dual IP65 and IP68 sealing, MIL-STD-810G-tested 3m (10 ft) drop resistance, 7,500 tumbles, and an operating temperature range of -22°F (-30°C) to 122°F (50°C) ensure continuous uptime in the harshest conditions. USB, Serial, and Keyboard Wedge interfaces simplify integration with existing host systems, while an ergonomic design and out-of-the-box readiness reduce operator training time. A three-year factory warranty underpins long-term deployment confidence.

What host interfaces does the Honeywell Granit 2100i support for connecting to a workstation or POS system?
The Granit 2100i supports USB, RS-232 TTL serial, and Keyboard Wedge interfaces, giving you flexibility to integrate with a wide range of host systems without additional adapters.
How durable is the Honeywell Granit 2100i, and can it handle freezer-to-floor temperature swings?
The scanner is rated IP65 and IP68, survives 3m (10 ft) drops tested to MIL-STD-810G, and withstands 7,500 tumbles from 1m (3.3 ft). Its operating temperature range runs from -30°C to 50°C (-22°F to 122°F), making it suitable for both freezer environments and high-heat production floors.
What barcode symbologies can the Honeywell Granit 2100i decode?
It reads standard 1D, PDF, 2D, Postal, Digimarc, DOT Code, and OCR symbologies, with a minimum barcode element resolution of 2.5 mil for 1D codes and 5 mil for 2D codes.
How far can the Honeywell Granit 2100i XR model scan, and what is its motion tolerance?
The XR model scans from at or near contact up to 33 feet for 100 mil Code 39 rack labels, and up to nearly 6 feet (1.8m) for UPC codes. Motion tolerance is up to 4 m/s (157 in/s), which helps maintain read rates even when codes are moving or the operator is scanning quickly.
What warranty does the Honeywell Granit 2100i carry, and where can I get technical support?
The scanner includes a three-year factory warranty. Technical support is available through the Honeywell Technical Support portal at honeywell.com/PSStechnicalsupport, and user documentation is hosted at automation.honeywell.com.
