Part of the PowerScan 9500 series, it uses a 2D area imager to read any orientation of 1D, 2D, stacked, and postal codes from contact to over 1.0 m / 3.3 ft, depending on barcode resolution, eliminating the need to align labels precisely and keeping throughput high. Its ergonomic handle and well-balanced weight at 11.64 oz reduce operator fatigue during scan-intensive shifts, while a soft-pulsed white illumination light is gentler on the eyes than traditional flash-based systems. Multi-interface connectivity via USB, Serial, and Keyboard Wedge ensures straightforward integration with existing workstations and host systems.
