The Datalogic PD9530-BK-RTK20 ships as a kit with RS-232 serial cable connectivity, pairing the corded PowerScan PD9530-RT imager with a vertical cradle that enables presentation-mode scanning at the POS. The imager reads both 1D and 2D codes omnidirectionally, covering all standard 1D linear codes including GS1 DataBar, plus 2D formats — Aztec Code, China Han Xin Code, Data Matrix, MaxiCode, Micro QR Code and QR Code — as well as a full range of postal and stacked codes such as PDF417, MicroPDF417 and MacroPDF. The scanner also decodes Digimarc digital watermarks, extending symbology coverage beyond conventional barcodes. IP65 sealing and a drop rating of 2.0 m / 6.6 ft support sustained use in retail checkout, shelf replenishment and goods receiving. Datalogic's 3GL technology and Motionix motion-sensing are included, and the unit weighs 11.64 oz in its black and dark gray housing.
