The Datalogic DS1500 is a high-performance miniature laser scanner built for OEM integrators and automation engineers who need reliable 1D barcode reading in space-constrained installations. Measuring just 40 x 30 x 22 mm and weighing 44 g without cable, it embeds directly into automated machinery, packaging lines, document handling systems, chemical and biomedical analysis equipment, and Automated Tape Libraries. A scanning speed of up to 1200 scans/s — software-selectable between 1200 scans/s and 800 scans/s — keeps pace with demanding, high-throughput processes, while the embedded ACB™ Advanced Code Builder reconstruction algorithm decodes damaged or mis-applied labels that would defeat conventional scanners. An IP65-rated ZAMA alloy housing resists dust and washdown, and a pushbutton-activated test mode with LED bar-graph display simplifies installation and repositioning without requiring an external PC.
