The Zebra ZE51142-R010100Z ships with RFID encoding capability fitted to a 4.09-inch direct thermal and thermal transfer print engine, making it the configuration of choice where on-board RFID tracking is a hard operational requirement. It prints monochrome labels at 203 dpi and up to 18 in/s, with a maximum print length of 13.08 ft and maximum label width of 4.49 in, handling die-cut, continuous and black mark media up to 10 mil thick through adjustable transmissive and fixed reflective sensors. The 512 MB of onboard memory supports extended label queues, while a 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen provides direct control. Standard connectivity spans USB, USB Host, Fast Ethernet and Bluetooth, with parallel and Wireless LAN available as optional additions. ZPL, ZPL II and ZBI 2.0 emulation, Unicode and 850 character sets, and a real-time clock are included, and the fanless all-metal chassis operates from 31 degrees F to 104 degrees F.
