The Zebra MT2000 Series is a gun-style handheld mobile terminal designed for IT managers and operations teams running scan-intensive workflows in retail, warehousing, manufacturing, and healthcare. It merges the simplicity of a barcode scanner with the intelligence of a mobile computer, running Windows CE 5.0 on an Intel XScale PXA270 processor with 64 MB RAM and 64 MB flash memory. Data capture configurations span 1D laser, 1D/2D imager, 1D/2D HD imager, and DPM imager, giving procurement teams a single device family to standardize across varying application requirements. Bluetooth and USB connectivity support both cordless and corded host connections, while IP54 sealing and a 6 ft./1.8 m drop specification to concrete deliver the durability that industrial environments demand. FIPS 140-2 compliance adds government-grade data security for regulated industries.
