The Zebra MS-1204FZY-I000R is the fuzzy-logic variant of the MiniScan MS1204 fixed mount laser scanner, configured with a True RS-232 serial interface and no USB. Fuzzy logic enables reliable decoding of poorly printed and low-contrast 1D bar codes across ten symbologies, including UPC/EAN, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, Codabar and RSS. A linear laser light source delivers a scan rate of 36 scan/s through a linear scan pattern, with depth-of-field ranges spanning 3.25 in to 7 in at 5 mil and reaching out to 4 in to 75 in at 55 mil. The compact in-counter housing measures 2.3 in wide, 2.9 in deep and 1.6 in tall, weighing 4.45 oz. Laser classification meets CDRH Class II and IEC Class 2; electrical safety is certified to UL1950; EMI/RFI compliance covers FCC Part 15 Class B, ICES-003 Class B, European Union EMC Directive and Australian SMA. RoHS compliance is confirmed, and the unit is backed by a 1 Year limited warranty.
