Configured as an RS-232 kit for the Nixdorf CRW Beetle, the Zebra LS2208-1AZR0800SR is a wired, handheld laser barcode scanner operating at 5 V DC and delivering a bi-directional scan rate of 100 scan/s through a linear sensor. The multi-interface host connection supports Serial, Keyboard Wedge, Wand Emulation, IBM 468X/469X, USB and Synapse, and the kit ships with an RS-232 assembly cable and a gooseneck stand. Seventeen 1D symbologies are decoded, including UPC/EAN, UPC/EAN Supplementals, UCC/EAN 128, Code 39, Code 128, Codabar, Code 93, Code 11, IATA, RSS Variants and Chinese 2 of 5. The white handheld chassis measures 6 in tall, 2.5 in wide and 3.3 in deep, weighing 5.15 oz. Certifications span UL1950, CSA C22.2 No. 950, EN60950/IEC950, FCC Part 15 Class B, CDRH Class II laser safety and RoHS compliance, backed by a 5-year limited warranty.
