Integrated 902–928 MHz UHF RFID capability defines the DS9808-SR00007C1WR, restricting that RFID functionality to use in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, El Salvador, and Guatemala. The device combines handheld and hands-free UHF RFID reading with 1D and 2D barcode scanning in a single Twilight Black chassis, using an imager sensor with laser light source. Depth-of-field reach extends from 0 in to 4.5 in at 5 mil for Code 39, 0 in to 8.5 in at 10 mil for UPC/EAN, and 0 in to 6 in at 10 mil for DataMatrix. Supported symbologies span UPC/EAN, Code 39, Code 128, GS1 DataBar, PDF417, MicroPDF417, DataMatrix/ECC 200, QR Code, Aztec, MaxiCode, and eight postal formats. USB and serial host interfaces are provided, with the USB cable sold separately. The unit weighs 1.02 lb and measures 8.5 in tall, 3.5 in wide, and 6 in deep, suited to retail POS and item-level RFID verification workflows.

The innovative hybrid form factor seamlessly switches between presentation and handheld modes, while USB and serial interfaces ensure straightforward integration with existing POS systems. Select variants add integrated UHF RFID reading for combined barcode and RFID workflows, and the scanner is built to withstand multiple 5 ft./1.5 m drops to concrete. A 3-year limited warranty and RoHS compliance round out a dependable, enterprise-ready solution.
