Description
ico-plus ico-minus
The Zebra DS4608 is a corded handheld 2D area imager designed for retail associates, POS operators, and front-line staff who need fast, dependable barcode capture across the entire store. Connecting via USB or RS-232, it integrates readily with existing POS and back-office systems without wireless infrastructure. Its high-resolution 1280 x 800 pixel megapixel sensor, 800 MHz processor, and Zebra's PRZM Intelligent Imaging technology decode a comprehensive range of 1D and 2D symbologies — including DotCode, DataMatrix, QR Code, and UPC/EAN — whether printed on labels, displayed on mobile screens, or obscured behind cellophane. IP52-sealed construction, a double-sealed optical system, a recessed scan window, and a design rated to survive multiple 6 ft (1.8 m) drops to concrete and 2,000 tumbles ensure consistent uptime in busy checkout, returns, and receiving environments. At 5.7 oz, the DS4608 is lightweight enough for extended handheld use, and it supports automatic handheld-to-presentation-mode switching when placed in an optional stand.
