The Zebra CV60 GigE Series is a line of high-resolution industrial area scan cameras designed for machine vision engineers and automation integrators working in demanding manufacturing environments. Available in twelve models — six monochrome and six color — these cameras deliver CMOS sensor resolutions ranging from 2.3 to 24.5 megapixels with a GigE Vision interface over Ethernet, making them well suited for quality assurance, product inspection, and error-proofing applications on the factory floor. Every model is rated to 80G shock and 10G vibration, operates in ambient temperatures from 23°F/-5°C to 113°F/45°C, and fits into a compact 29 mm x 29 mm body weighing just 65 g. Power is accepted via PoE or a 6-pin connector, and built-in features such as ROI, Automatic Level Control, blemish compensation, and lossless video compression keep critical inspection lines running at maximum uptime.

What sensor resolution options are available in the Zebra CV60 GigE Series, and do they come in both color and monochrome versions?
The Zebra CV60 GigE Series offers twelve models with CMOS sensor resolutions ranging from 2.3 to 24.5 megapixels — specifically 2.3 MP, 5 MP, 8.9 MP, 12.3 MP, 20.3 MP, and 24.5 MP — each available in both color and monochrome variants.
How does the Zebra CV60 GigE Series connect to a host system, and can it be powered over the network cable?
Each camera connects via a GigE Vision interface using an RJ-45 connector with locking screws, and it accepts power either through Power over Ethernet (PoE) at +36V to +57V DC or through a separate 6-pin connector at +10V to +25V DC.
What are the physical dimensions and weight of the Zebra CV60 GigE cameras?
The 2.3 MP through 12.3 MP models measure 29 mm x 29 mm x 51.5 mm, while the 20.3 MP and 24.5 MP models measure 29 mm x 29 mm x 55 mm; all models weigh 65 g.
What shock and vibration ratings does the Zebra CV60 GigE Series carry, and what operating temperatures does it support?
Every model is rated to 80G shock and 10G vibration (20 Hz to 200 Hz in XYZ directions), and the operating ambient temperature range is 23°F/-5°C to 113°F/45°C at 20 to 80% non-condensing humidity.
What image-processing and flexibility features does the Zebra CV60 GigE Series provide for demanding inspection setups?
The cameras include region-of-interest (ROI) settings, horizontal and vertical image flip and mirroring (most models), blemish compensation, shading correction, two sequencer modes, and an Automatic Level Control (ALC) function for dynamic lighting conditions, plus pixel size rescaling and lossless video compression.
Which industries and applications is the Zebra CV60 GigE Series designed for?
It is designed for manufacturing environments, specifically quality assurance, product quality and error-proofing, and quality inspections, and it is ideal for multi-camera setups requiring three or more cameras.
