Rated for 110 V AC input, the Zebra 223-801-00000 is a direct thermal and thermal transfer label printer built around an 8.50-inch maximum print width at 300 dpi resolution, making it suited to chemical drum, pallet and wide-format compliance labeling where standard 4-inch printers fall short. It prints monochrome output at up to 6 in/s and accepts media up to 8.80 inches wide and 12 mil thick, in black mark, continuous, die-cut, fanfold and roll-fed formats, with transmissive and reflective sensors and a maximum label length of 12.50 ft. Roll diameter tops out at 3.20 inches on a 1-inch label core, with a matching 1-inch ribbon core. The 12-gauge steel frame houses 16 MB SDRAM and 8 MB flash, driven by a single 32 bit 133 MHz RISC processor, with ZPL II and XML emulation covering integration needs. Serial, parallel, USB and Fast Ethernet interfaces are all standard, and a broad symbology set spans Code 128, PDF-417, Data Matrix, QR Code and Aztec Code, among others. The package ships with a North American Edition power cord and is backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
