The Verkada BR31 is a wireless door sensor designed for IT and security administrators who need reliable, cloud-managed intrusion detection across single or multi-site buildings. Using Verkada's proprietary VLink wireless protocol operating at 868–928 MHz, it automatically connects to the nearest VLink hub with no manual pairing required, making it well suited for retail, corporate campuses, healthcare facilities, and any environment where rapid, scalable deployment is a priority. Managed through Verkada's Command platform, administrators can remotely monitor live and historical activity, check connection quality, and configure partition-based alarm schedules from anywhere. Powered by 2 x CR123A lithium batteries with up to 10 years of battery life, the BR31 supports a door gap width adjustable up to 2" (5 cm) and carries a 10-year warranty for long-term peace of mind.
