The Verkada AC62 is a cloud-managed, enterprise-scale 16-door access controller designed for large organizations managing security across geographically distributed sites. Connecting to Verkada Command over a 100/1000 Mbps Ethernet link, it centralizes credential, schedule, and permission management and pushes all updates automatically — eliminating manual patching. On-device storage and compute, combined with auxiliary battery support, ensure doors remain secured and access decisions are made locally even during power or internet outages. Each of its 16 door ports provides dual REX inputs, a DPI input, and a reader port, while fire alarm interface support automatically removes power from maglocks to enable rapid egress. A terminal block design with removable connectors and cable management loops simplifies large-scale installation across corporate, campus, healthcare, and government environments.
