The Honeywell Xenon 1970 is a corded handheld barcode scanner engineered for procurement and operations teams that need reliable Direct Part Marking (DPM) capture in demanding industrial environments. Built on the proven Xenon hardware platform, it pairs an AI-powered decoding algorithm with an innovative dual-illumination system — white 5500K direct and blue 450nm indirect lighting — to read low-contrast, curved, reflective, damaged, and dot peen DPM codes with speed and accuracy. An advanced optical system pushes minimum readable density to 1.5 mil (1D) and 2 mil (2D), making it well suited for electronics manufacturing, automotive parts, lithium battery production, and photovoltaic applications. A 1280 x 1080 pixel image sensor, IP52 environmental sealing, and 1.8 m drop resistance to concrete round out a platform built for consistent traceability and quality control on the production floor.
