The Intermec PC23DA1010121 sets itself apart within the PC23d desktop family by pairing a built-in RFID encoder operating at 13.56 MHz with direct thermal printing at 203 dpi and up to 8 in/s across a 2.20-inch print width. It handles self-adhesive labels, linerless stock, tags, non-adhesive tags, continuous paper and floodcoat media up to 2.40 inches wide and 68 inches long on rolls to 5 inches in diameter with a 1.50-inch core, detected by a transmissive media sensor. A 2.4-inch LCD and a real-time clock are standard, and 128 MB of DDR2 SDRAM paired with 128 MB of flash memory support IPL, Fingerprint, DSim, ZSim, XML and E-Sim emulation with a broad symbology set that includes PDF-417, Data Matrix, QR Code and Aztec Code. The unit draws 24 V DC via the included power adapter, measures 4.9 in wide by 8.5 in deep by 6.9 in tall, weighs 3.20 lb, and ships with a USB cable. Energy Star qualified and RoHS compliant, it carries CE, FCC, C-UL-US and UL certifications and a one-year limited warranty.

The Intermec PC23d by Honeywell is a compact 2-inch direct thermal desktop label printer built for IT and procurement buyers who need a reliable, easy-to-deploy printing solution in space-constrained environments. Suited to healthcare, retail, hospitality, light-duty manufacturing, and warehouse settings, it handles self-adhesive labels, non-adhesive tags, linerless media, floodcoat, and continuous paper strip roll up to a 5" roll diameter. Print resolution reaches up to 300 dpi, with speeds selectable up to 8 ips at 203 dpi and 6 ips at 300 dpi. Standard USB connectivity is complemented by a field-installable Ethernet module, and an optional factory-installed 13.56 MHz HF RFID module extends its capability to smart label applications. The 2.4" LCD user interface supports ten languages, and 128 MB Flash plus 128 MB RAM provide solid on-board processing. Broad command language support — including IPL, ZSim, DSim, and ESim — makes integration and migration straightforward, while a disinfectant-resistant case and Energy Star compliance add long-term value.
