Linerless capability distinguishes the Intermec PB50B22804100, a portable direct thermal label printer shipping with IEEE 802.11g wireless LAN alongside serial and USB interfaces for flexible field connectivity. It prints monochrome labels at 203 dpi and up to 4 in/s across a 4.39-inch maximum print width, accepting linerless, label, tag, receipt and synthetic media on rolls up to 2.65 inches in diameter with a 0.75-inch core. The unit runs on a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery at 14.8 V DC and measures 6.9 in tall by 6.3 in wide by 3.1 in deep. Fingerprint language emulation is supported, and onboard memory comprises 16 MB standard with 64 MB flash. The package includes hand strap, shoulder strap, belt clip, protective case, cart mount, vehicle mount, four-bay battery charger, AC adapter, and truck and forklift power cables, covering a broad range of mounting and deployment scenarios. Its industrial-grade housing carries an IP54 seal and withstands 26 drops from 1.5 m onto concrete, making it dependable in demanding daily use. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, USB, and RS-232 serial, giving IT teams flexible integration into existing wired or wireless workflows. A 14.8 V Li-Ion 2.2 Ah rechargeable battery powers extended print sessions, while remote management via Intermec SmartSystems reduces IT support overhead.
