Configured with an IBM 46XX host interface, the Metrologic MK3780-61A11-SW1 is a cabled, handheld 1D laser barcode scanner operating at 5 V DC. Its 20-line omnidirectional scan pattern can also run in single-line mode, covering a depth of field of 25 mm to 279 mm at 13 mil, and supports RSS-14, RSS-14 Limited and RSS-Expanded symbologies. The dark gray chassis weighs 6.88 oz and measures 7.4 in deep, 2.6 in wide and 2.9 in tall, keeping the unit compact enough for sustained counter use. Laser safety is certified to Class 1 under IEC60825-1:1993/A1:1997+A2:2001 and EN60825-1:1994/A11:1996+A2:2001, with EMC compliance covering CE, FCC, ICES-003 and EN55022 Class A, plus WEEE environmental compliance.
