Fitted with the Honeywell N6700 7th-generation 2D imager, the CT40-L1N-2LC11HF handheld terminal reads 1D and 2D barcodes on patient wristbands, vials, syringes and IV bags across a phone-size, 9.81 oz rugged chassis built to healthcare-grade housing and connector standards. The 5-inch HD LED touchscreen runs at 1280 x 720 resolution, backed by 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of flash storage, with microSD, SDHC, SDXC and SDIO card expansion supported. IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/r/k/mc wireless LAN, Bluetooth and NFC cover connectivity, and FIPS 140-2 Level 1 certification protects patient data. Running Android on the Mobility Edge platform, the unit supports upgrades through Android R with security updates available for up to five years past the last Google patch, and carries a 1-year limited warranty.
