The HID Edge Readers/Controllers by HID Global combine advanced card reading with integrated controller capabilities, supporting multiple credential technologies such as HID Mobile Access®, Seos®, iCLASS®, and Proximity. Featuring flexible communication interfaces including Ethernet, OSDP, and Wiegand, these devices ensure secure data transmission with end-to-end encryption and mutual authentication. Designed for rugged environments with an IP65 rating and operating between -40°C and 60°C, they offer configurable inputs and outputs for direct control of locks and alarms. Firmware upgradeability and versatile connectivity make the HID Edge Readers/Controllers an efficient and secure solution for scalable access control systems.
