Rated for RFID label printing, the Intermec PC23DA1010132 is a direct thermal desktop printer configured with HF RFID encoding capability, 300 dpi resolution, and Latin and Asian font support. It prints monochrome output at up to 6 in/s across a 2.10-inch print width, accepting media up to 2.40 inches wide and 35 inches long on rolls to 5 inches in diameter with a 1.50-inch core, via a transmissive media sensor. Compatible media types include RFID cards, tags, linerless stock, continuous paper, self-adhesive labels, floodcoat and non-adhesive tags. A 2.4-inch LCD display supports operation, while 128 MB of DDR2 SDRAM and 128 MB of flash memory support label storage and processing. Language emulation covers IPL, Fingerprint, DSim, ZSim, XML and E-Sim, and a real-time clock is included. The printer weighs 3.20 lb and measures 6.9 in high by 4.9 in wide by 8.5 in deep, suited to light-duty desktop labeling deployments requiring RFID write capability.

The Intermec PC23d by Honeywell is a compact 2-inch direct thermal desktop label printer built for IT and procurement buyers who need a reliable, easy-to-deploy printing solution in space-constrained environments. Suited to healthcare, retail, hospitality, light-duty manufacturing, and warehouse settings, it handles self-adhesive labels, non-adhesive tags, linerless media, floodcoat, and continuous paper strip roll up to a 5" roll diameter. Print resolution reaches up to 300 dpi, with speeds selectable up to 8 ips at 203 dpi and 6 ips at 300 dpi. Standard USB connectivity is complemented by a field-installable Ethernet module, and an optional factory-installed 13.56 MHz HF RFID module extends its capability to smart label applications. The 2.4" LCD user interface supports ten languages, and 128 MB Flash plus 128 MB RAM provide solid on-board processing. Broad command language support — including IPL, ZSim, DSim, and ESim — makes integration and migration straightforward, while a disinfectant-resistant case and Energy Star compliance add long-term value.
