Powered by a quad-core Intel Core i3 running at 3.10 GHz, the Elo E982670 is a black booksize POS terminal built around the EloPOS Pack platform with Intel Q370 chipset and UHD Graphics 630. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 SDRAM and a 128 GB M.2/SATA SSD, giving retail and hospitality deployments a capable compute base in a 5.73 lb chassis. Connectivity spans USB, powered USB, Gigabit Ethernet with an RJ-45 port, wireless LAN, a cash drawer port and an RJ-50 port -- 16 connection points in total -- covering peripherals from payment devices and barcode scanners to legacy 12V powered-USB printers. The unit ships without an operating system, and has been pretested with Linux SuSE, Ubuntu and Red Hat. Energy Star qualified and manufactured in China.
