The Datalogic TD1170-BK-90 connects via Keyboard Wedge or Serial interface, making it a corded contact linear imager suited for workstation-tethered data capture in retail and similar low-throughput environments. Its linear imager delivers a maximum scan resolution of 4 mil and an omni-directional scan pattern, reading all standard 1D codes including GS1 DataBar linear, GS1 DataBar Stacked, GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked and GS1 DataBar Stacked Omnidirectional. Depth of field ranges from 0 in to 3.2 in at 7.5 mil on Code 39, extending to 0 in to 4.7 in at 10 mil on Code 39 and 0 in to 6 in at 13 mil on EAN-13. The black handheld chassis measures 6.7 in tall, 2.7 in wide and 4.1 in deep, weighing approximately 5.40 oz, and is manufactured in Vietnam. An interface cable and USB cable are ordered separately.

The Datalogic Touch TD1100 is a corded handheld contact linear imager barcode scanner designed for organizations that need a cost-effective, reliable solution for low-throughput barcode reading. Suited to retail service points, banking and finance, public administration, and libraries, it delivers excellent reading performance on virtually all 1D and stacked linear codes, including damaged or poorly printed barcodes. Two reading window sizes — 6.5 cm / 2.6 in and 9.0 cm / 3.5 in — accommodate both standard and wide codes on documents, books, and utility bills. USB and RS-232 interface options ensure broad host compatibility, while a drop resistance of 1.5 m / 5.0 ft adds durability that exceeds typical entry-level expectations. The compact, lightweight design and an innovative 'read-thru' holder also support comfortable hands-free operation at the point of service.
