The Datalogic QD2450-BKK20-EAS includes integrated EAS tag deactivation alongside 2D area imaging, making it a dual-function unit for retail POS checkout in a single handheld. Its 752 x 480 image sensor reads omni-directionally across linear, area and stacked symbologies -- including Aztec Code, Data Matrix, QR Code, MaxiCode, PDF417 and all GS1 DataBar variants -- with motion tolerance of 25 in/s and a maximum scan distance of 13.8 in. Depth of field spans 0.2 to 13.8 in on 13 mil EAN/UPC stock and 0.2 to 5.9 in on 5 mil Code 39, with a minimum element resolution of 5 mil. The aiming system uses red LED illumination rated to 86000 lux ambient, with reading angles of 60 degrees skew, 65 degrees pitch and 360 degrees roll. Keyboard Wedge, Serial and USB host interfaces support Magellan integration. The 5.11 oz chassis carries an IP42 rating and withstands repeated drops from 1.5 m onto concrete, operating across 32 F to 122 F.
